These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of merayatri.com (the "Site"), operated by MeraYatri. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
What MeraYatri Is
MeraYatri is a listing platform that connects travelers with independent car and tempo traveler owners. MeraYatri is not a vehicle rental company, does not own or operate any vehicle listed on the Site, and is not a party to any rental agreement made between a traveler and a vehicle owner. All bookings, pricing, payments, and trip arrangements are made directly between the traveler and the vehicle owner.
Account Registration
To list a vehicle or contact vehicle owners, you may need to register an account and verify your mobile number via OTP. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Vehicle Owners
Vehicle owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including vehicle condition, pricing, availability, and photos, and for holding all licenses, permits, insurance, and registrations required by law to operate their vehicle for hire. MeraYatri does not verify every listing and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information provided by an owner.
Travelers
Travelers are responsible for verifying vehicle details, confirming pricing, and agreeing on trip terms directly with the vehicle owner before travel. MeraYatri recommends confirming the owner's identity, vehicle documents, and cancellation terms before making any payment.
Payments
MeraYatri does not process rental payments. All payments for a trip are made directly between the traveler and the vehicle owner, on terms they agree between themselves. See our Refund Policy for more details.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Site to post false or misleading listings, harass other users, attempt to circumvent the Site's security, or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
Limitation of Liability
MeraYatri provides the Site "as is" to help travelers and vehicle owners connect, and is not responsible for the conduct, reliability, or actions of any user, the condition of any vehicle, or the outcome of any trip. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeraYatri is not liable for any loss, damage, dispute, or injury arising from a booking, trip, or interaction arranged through the Site.
Content and Intellectual Property
The MeraYatri name, logo, and website content (excluding user-submitted listings and photos) belong to MeraYatri and may not be copied or reused without permission. By submitting a listing, you grant MeraYatri the right to display your vehicle details and photos on the Site.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site for any user who violates these Terms or misuses the platform.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
