When It's at Its Best (and Busiest)
July through September, during peak monsoon, is when the dam overflows most dramatically — also when crowds are largest, especially on weekends, so a weekday visit is far more relaxed if your schedule allows it.
Outside Monsoon
In drier months the dam has little to no overflow, so the site loses much of its appeal — this is very much a season-specific attraction.
